A near mint condition very early radio station promotional single from the dark side of the moon mind of Syd Barrett and Pink Floyd. One side is taken from the Tower Album #5093 "Pink Floyd" while the more psychedelic "Flaming" on the flip foreshadows upcoming excursions into haunting soundscapes. It's an outake not available on the debut lp. Neither side designated as A or B. Look for the rare Pink Floyd, Joe Cocker, & Rolling Stones' drive-in movie ad slicks for the specially packaged "5 Hours Of Rock, More Than A Movie, An Explosive Cinema Concert!" presentation also up for auction now from midnightdread on eBay. The original Tower Records promotional vinyl is in amazing condition. No warp, no scratches, no skips. Only played a couple of times back in the day and to grade for this listing. From my Man Of Constant Sorrow archive of rare 60s rock singles released in 1967, 1968 and 1969. Except for minor hand-writing on label (see photos) the record looks as good as the day it was received by the radio station. No fading and no other signs of aging. Primo Pink Floyd with one of their first ever U.S. releases.
