Somewhere between faery tales and Interstellar orbits, 'Piper at the gates of dawn' laid the groundwork for experimental rock and beyond. An obsolete revelation of lysergic sound and one of the best debut albums ever. An 1983 stereo pressing on EMI's 'Fame' series. Cover looks great with no tears, dents, or seam splits. A small crease is near the EMI logo in upper left corner and what appears to be evidence of a tag removal is on Richard Wright's hair. It looks like someone attempted to outline the figures on the back cover and is really only noticeable if held up to bright light. Yet the Pink Floyd logo on front also has this outline, but more precise. Check all the photos, as this may be only real as strawberry fields. Vinyl is clean, bright, and sounds awesome! It's interesting to note that this amazing debut was repressed the same year Floyd released their weakest album, 'The final cut'.
