Description

Pink Floyd – Piper at the Gates of Dawn, 1st UK pressing Stereo, Black and blue Columbia label. SCX6157.

1st pressing matrix on run off YAX 3419-1 /YAX 3420-1.  Cover is 1st issue without “File Under Pop” on reverse.

Condition: Vinyl has a few very light marks but is nice and clean and shiny. There is some background crackle and the odd light click but no deep scratches or jumps. The Cover has some light creasing in the laminate but no splits.  It has a few stains and is a bit grubby where the laminate has shrunk to reveal the edge of the cardboard.  The cover also has two small stickers (See photo) which were applied by the record shop where I bought the album in 1967.  I thought it was best to leave these rather than try to remove them.  Labels are clean. Original inner sleeve was repaired by me with sellotape which has gone brown over the years.  All of this is relevant to the age of the LP.
