23 years after the original album debuted at no.1 on the UK album chart, ‘Pulse’ is being re-released on heavyweight 180-gram vinyl.
Remastered from the original tapes by James Guthrie, Joel Plante and Bernie Grundman, the lavish 4-LP set boasts four different inner sleeves, each inside individual outer sleeves, plus a 52-page hardback photo book. The whole package is all encased in a thick card slipcase.
Aubrey Powell of Hipgnosis and Peter Curzon, who worked on the original art with the legendary late Hipgnosis co-founder, Storm Thorgerson, recreated the art package.
Originally released in May 1995, ‘Pulse’ is compiled from various performances on Pink Floyd’s The Division Bell Tour across the United Kingdom and Europe.
Featuring David Gilmour, Nick Mason and Richard Wright, the album includes ‘The Dark Side of the Moon’ performed in full live, as well as a whole side dedicated to the show’s encore.
Recorded live in Europe and the U.K. with Le Voyageur 11 Mobile.
Mixed at Astoria in Q Sound.
Mastered at Das Boot and Bernie Grundman Mastering.
