Hello and welcome to one of my listings. Primarily I am a collector however from time to time I like to offer items from my collection. I grade very strictly, using the UK Record Grading system- both play grading and visual grading are used, Visual grading is based on inspection under both normal and extreme bright light, as you will see from my feedback I do normally get this right! Title: The Piper at the Gates of Dawn
Description: Scarce 1967 First mono press with flipback sleeve on the blue/black Columbia label, despite the sleeve being in nice solid condition the vinyl is well used however does have mother/ stamper numbers of 1/G & 1/G making this one of the first few hundred pressed. That said the vinyl condition really is not in the best of shape- see gradings.

Disc: Fair - Both sides bear numerous scuffs & surface markings which do cause light - moderate surface noise throughout much of the disc particuarly side two on 'Instellar Overdrive' which does also have just a touch of groove wear in the opening although I cannot say that this is connected into the actual music itself. The majority of play is solid and listenable however by no means a perfect one!
Sleeve: Very Good - A nice copy of this earlier sleeve which omitts the 'File under pop..' text seen on later issued copies, some corner wear however overall a respectable example.
Labels: Very Good Plus - Just a moderate amount of spindle trails to both sides.
Inner: EXCELLENT.
