Description
This is the original issue of the first Pink Floyd LP , "The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn" from 1967 in Mono SX 6157 with laminated sleeve.
Sleeve condition is quite good but there are some creases and scuffed corners on the left of the front while the back has a light spillage mark at the top right plus a small car shaped pen outline where I unfortunately once stuck a personal logo design (I was 16 at the time and the record was then only worth the shop price of 32 shillings and sixpence - it's not a great excuse but it's the truth).
I listed this LP recently and ended the listing early as my description of the condition was incorrect. It is correct to say that there are a number of minor crackles throughout side 1 which are not very audible apart from between tracks on most of the side but the first track has some loud crackles and the occasional pop for the first 30 seconds or so, getting quieter and less intrusive as it progresses. Side 2 is similar but the first track, 'Interstellar Overdrive', has a number of fuzzy passages and a few pops which spoil it.
Due to the comments on condition above I have to downgrade the condition to mostly good except for Side 2 Track 1 and will therefore now offer it with no reserve price.
