IN THE HOLY LAND - THE 70's
Think you got it all when it comes to Pink Floyd collectables? Well, there is a good chance that you dont have this!
Upp for sale is an ultra rare 3 LP Israelian box set released in 1979. It contains the albums Dark Side of the Moon, Meddle and Wish You Were Here.
This set also contains a pink promo-cap that says 'PINK FLOYD IN THE HOLY LAND THE 70's' and the same in Hebrew. It also contain a card insert with the full Israel Pink Floyd discography up to and including The Wall. (These are not pictured, but included and in NM condition!)
The Dark side.. and Meddle LP's are on "Portrait" label that is exclusive to Israel. The Wish You Were Here lp is on an orange CBS label with 'Made in Israel' on it.
All the records are in near mint condition and the sleeves are excellent. The box is in EX+ condition.

The following info is listed on the "Pink Floyd Discographies" section on the "Pink Floyd Archives" web-site by Vernon Fitch, the author of "The Pink Floyd Encyclopedia" and states the following:

Release Date: 1979
Release Information: This 3-LP box set was not an official release, as it was produced by a record store in Israel using officially released Israeli LP pressings of Atom Heart Mother, The Dark Side of the Moon, and Wish You Were Here. It was made in a limited edition of 100 copies. The box includes two inserts, one of which features an Israeli discography, and a pink baseball cap. This set has also been found with the LP Meddle used instead of Atom Heart Mother.

I think it´s safe to assume that a good few of those 100 (!) copies are either lost or in a less then favorable condition? This set was actually ordered from a personal ad. in "Record Collector mag." almost 20 years ago. So here´s your chance to own a very, very rare Pink Floyd collectable with a uniqe regional connection!
