Description
The Pixies LP Vinyl - Surfer Rosa.
First UK Pressing - 4AD - CAD 803..
Outer sleeve - (VG (-) - VG) - Outer sleeve is rough and is relatively clean, one heavy crease to the top right hand corner, one small rip to the bottom right hand corner, one rip to the side of the sleeve at the back, dirtying, ringwear to front and back.
Inner Sleeve - (VG - VG+) - Inner sleeve is nice and clean for the most part with no rips but it has finger marks on it. One large crease to one corner and slight rubbing along the sides.
Vinyl - (G - VG (-)) - Visually graded. When I mention 'scratches' or 'hairlines' or 'scuffs' these are light and cannot be felt deeply by the finger unless otherwise stated.
Vinyl looks well well played. Both sides have many, many light looking surface scratches / hairlines. Side 2 is cleaner but there are still may, many light looking surface scratches. I feel like the vinyl should still play ok with the right stylus / set of decks with the right stylus / set of decks such as Technics 1210s with the chance of some distortion in places.
Record Collectors Grading system
Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable Good (G) Te record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-fillerTerms of Business: If you are unhappy with your item please let me know and we will resolve it.
