“Hallelujah” Antilles Records #AN-7002. 1974 LP recorded live at The Royal Albert Hall by the Portsmouth Sinfonia who were an orchestra made-up of non-musicians and musicians playing instruments entirely new to them. Conducted by John Farley. Group founded by Gavin Bryers. LP produced by Brian Eno. You will never hear these songs the same again after hearing the Portsmouth Sinfonia. And that’s okay. Cuts: Mr. Michael Bond’s address, From the Nutcracker Suite Op. 71a March, From the Karelia Suite Op. 11 Intermezzo, Marche Militaire in D Major, Piano Concerto No. 1 in B flat Minor Op. 23, Overture 1812, William Tell Overture, From the Messiah (Part II) Hallelujah Chorus with the Portsmouth Sinfonia Choir. Vinyl is in mint minus condition. Cover is in VG++ condition. There is a cut-out notch but all seams are intact.
