Description
This is a 2 lp compilation that includes The Pretty Things' lps SF SORROW from 1968 and PARACHUTE from 1970. Released in 1976 on Rare Earth (Motown imprint, R7-549R2). For all the praise heaped on SF SORROW, PARACHUTE is equally compelling. Their 1970 release is, at least, as road-grading as BEGGARS BANQUET. Gatefold.
CONSERVATIVE GRADING - I do not give out grades above vg+ for anything that has been removed from its original packaging
vinyl = vg+; clean and glossy, sound is crisp cover = vg; noticeable ring wear on the boards; also, what looks like spilled coffee on the front board adjacent to spine; light edge wear, NO splitting; punch-out near top outside corner, cut-out near bottom of spine
