Description
This is an excellent (EX/VG++) copy of "Let It Be" by The Beatles (1970) (PXS 1/PCS 7096). This is the first UK edition with the red apple on the reverse of the jacket and the "The Beatles Get Back" photo book. Unfortunately, the original outer-box is no longer with the set. I obtained this from the original owner who bought it new while stationed in the UK in 1970. The jacket is EX with extremely minimal wear (see photos). The book is also EX with only the lightest wear that would be expect with time (see photos). The disc is virtually EX, but there are a few surface marks on the A-side. These do not affect play and the disc is otherwise glossy and looks like new. It has seen very little wear overall. Q&A so far:
Q: I assume you play tested this so..... No pops, skips, clicks? Is there a lot of surface noise between tracks or a little?
A: No, nothing like that at all. This disc is super super clean! I rated conservatively at VG++ because there is a visible mark on one side. Otherwise, I would call it EX, if not NM. The mark is visible, but it's a not scratch, it's just surface mark of some sort. It doesn't make any noise of it's own that I can detect -- no clicks or pops like you'd get from scratch or a needle-drag. This is a one-owner item and has been really well taken care of!
