Description
This is part of a collection I obtained from a collector who played the LPs only once so as to commit to tape and kept them in pristine condition.
This very early press of Sheer Heart Attack is in amazing condition and the quality of the sound is stunning. There is only the slightest of crackle but I have honestly never heard a better early press than this. Fantastically well looked after this is a must for any fan. There are a few faint scratch type marks on the first track of Side Two but it in no way detracts from the sound at all. I have play tested it and it sounds wonderful. As per the other LPs from this collection it has been extremely well cared for.
The laminated cover is also one of the best I have seen. Slight pinching in the top left there is minimal creasing which is so common with this cover. The edges and corners are in great shape and it retains a very clean opening edge and a thin pinched spine in great condition also. Perhaps even more rare is the paper lyric sleeve that is in absolutely prefect condition - how rare is that?!! In great condition this LP will not disappoint any fan :-)
Play tested on my Technics SL-J110R turntable system
Side One I would grade as Ex++
Side Two is Near Mint-
The cover is Ex++
The lyric inner is Mint
The original EMI
labels are Near Mint
Any questions please feel free to ask.
Please pay within 4 days of auction end.
I ONLY SEND ITEMS TO ITALY, RUSSIA AND SOUTH AMERICA "SIGNED FOR" AS TOO MANY ITEMS GO MISSING AND COSTS AN ADDITIONAL £6.00. PLEASE ONLY BID IF YOU AGREE WITH THIS.
I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE COSTS IF MORE THAN ONE ITEM IS WON / DOUBLE LPs COUNT AS TWO RECORDS.
ALL RECORDS ARE PROFESSIONALLY PACKED IN STRONG MAILERS WITH CARDBOARD STIFFENERS. THE RECORDS ARE ALSO REMOVED FROM THEIR SLEEVES TO AVOID CUTTING THROUGH THE COVER AND THEN PUT INTO A SEPARATE SLEEVE AND THEN PLACED INSIDE A PVC SLEEVE.
I WILL LEAVE FEEDBACK AS SOON AS I RECEIVE FEEDBACK - SO I KNOW THE ITEM WAS RECEIVED SAFELY AND THAT YOU ARE HAPPY WITH IT :-)
In the coming weeks and months I will be putting plenty of Queen, Pink Floyd, Genesis and Marillion items on the site so please keep a look out! Many thanks. Please look at my other items on now!
