Queen A Night At The Opera LP EMBOSSED UK 1st Issue Great Press [Ex/Ex-]

Description

An original 1st issue of OPERA on custom EMI labels - from whilst charting. Matrix 3/4. Etching Blairs. The vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold with the embossing of the image on the front. We also have the original too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Vg+) In very nice condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light [but visible] marks on side 2. ALL FULLY TESTED  - and nothing seemingly heavy or that causes major problem. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT of playback with a couple of small deviations per side. A great player and clean signalled. Clean into the quiet spots - so the vocal effects in Prophets are against a clean background. Plays with energy and power for those explosive moments - but delicate and clean for those melancholy piano driven numbers. BR play great - much better than you typically find. All I could spot was a couple of minor ticks in Seaside & LOML & BR. And a couple of minor ticks early in '39' and two isolated clicks later [caused by the marks mentioned above]. Overall - very impressive. Not many will play with a nice clean signal. Not perfect - but, highly accomplished.
Cover (Ex-) A super difficult cover to find TRULY clean. MANY copies might look good on-line. But they are usually not quite as good as they look - often the pics are bleached by the camera. WHAT you see, here, is a genuine white cover - which is incredibly hard to find on this title. It's unlaminated and the whites are near impossible to find clean like this. All I can make out is slightest signs of use at opening and a couple of age spots. The overall aesthetic is extremely impressive. Add to this a near perfect interior and hardly any edge wear and you're dealing with a very unusual item. The spine is 100% intact and unblemished/aged. how many? Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. Are you gonna be finding any other original example at this level...and at this price?
Inner (Ex) Very nice looking. No splits. Tiny abrasion at bottom edge [almost nothing].
