RARE...ORIGINAL 1967 first pressing in beautiful laminated cover...the legendary second album by Cuby & The Blizzards ...and it's a great essential album highlighted by their best tracks, inluding "Another Day, Another Road" and "Somebody Will Know Someday" ...
The Blizzards where the back-up band (i.e. "THEM" ) for Van Morrison when he visited Holland. The guy playing keys on this album is Herman Brood, a (Dutch-)famous musician,
painter, small-time criminal, full-time drug addict, part-time TV personality and now
as dead as a doornail after jumping from the roof of the Amsterdam Hilton.
Cuby & the Blizzards have been one of Holland's top blues/garage bands since the mid-'60s. Some of their early singles had a beat/punk orientation, particularly "Stumble & Fall" and "Your Body Not Your Soul," both of which would be included at the top of various beat & psych compilations many years later. They quickly settled into a straighter blues groove, featuring the rough raw vocals of Harry Muskee & brilliant expressive guitar by Eelco Gelling -- so great, at one point lead guitarist Eelco Gelling was asked to join John Mayall's Bluebreakers, although he declined.

CONDITION: The cover is laminated on front & back, clean M- with nice collectible look. No split seams, no bends, no writing and vivid sharp colors...a beauty.
The vinyl is glossy on both sides having no more than light (minor/nothing) inner sleeve type paper scuffs on side one VG++ and light scuffs and stylus scratch on side two VG+ that lightly ticks, otherwise plays very well ... overall still overtly enjoyable ...the 43 year old platter is in way better shape than most originals fared...with clean Philips labels...
