Description
Up for sale folks is a rare copy of The Velvet Underground & Nico. This is the stereo release, V6-5008. I have had this record in my collection for some time and it is time for someone else to enjoy it. This is a fairly rare one and only came across it a few times. Folks, lets talk about condition. The vinyl has a fair share of marks, scuffs and scratches. It plays good with background noice that does not overpower the music. It has pops, crackles, and unfortunately one skip. On side two's track, Heroin, a skip is heard that doesn't resolve itself, you have to get up and lift the tonearm. I have not cleaned this record either. I feel it should be left to the next owner. The cover has a mostly unpeeled banana, except for the stem which looks as if it was torn and taped back down. Some moron wrote their name on the front cover in blue pen as well. Sleeve shows corner wear and dents. The gatefold sleeve on the right has a 6" split on the right side. No Verve inner sleeve, just a generic white paper sleeve. Labels also have spindle marks as well. Record in my opinion would grade VG and sleeve is a cross between VG to VG+
