Description
RARE Vintage Vinyl/LP. 1st Pressing* Of Javier Solis Con El Mariachi Perla De Occidente. Bolero/Balada/Ballad/Mariachi/Romantic/Ranchero/Ranchera/Latin/Pop. Spanish language. Columbia. 1957 (Unmarked). DCA-43.
*I am categorizing this as a first/first pressing based on the markings "COL-12-83-1h" and "COL-12-84-1G" on the run-out grooves of Side A and Side B, respectively, the stylized "6-eye" and "walking CBS" symbols on the labels, the fact that the labels are dark orange/red, and very heavy cardboard stock for the cover.
I reiterate: This is a rare item. During the course of my research, I was not able to find any first pressing copies of this item for sale.
The record itself is in excellent condition. I have tested/played it twice, and it plays great…like all vinyl, it has some hissing and popping; but only has minor cosmetic wear and scratches. The cover is in excellent condition. The colors pop and gloss pop, and it only has the most signs of wear (scuffs and scratches and such, primarily on the edges and corners), but it does have some small writing in pen on both sides. The sleeve is generic white paper in good condition (some tears & folds).
Please look closely at pictures (and zoom in) to ensure you are satisfied with the condition of the item.
If you buy multiple items from me at approximately the same time, I will happily fulfill requests to combine shipping (saving you money) *unless* I have already shipped your first purchase(s) before you make subsequent purchases or you are an international buyer (EBay won't allow combined shipping for international buyers).
