Description
An rare Top of The Pops Transcription Disc from the BBC.
These discs were sent out to radio stations in the 1960s and 70s, and usually consisted of tracks recorded in BBC Studios linked by presenter Brian Matthew. They are very rare, as most were destroyed by the radio stations when their alloted broadcast period ended.
This one is of interest to Pink Floyd Fans, as it has two tracks recorded for the BBC on 2nd December 1968 for 'Top Gear'. As far as I'm aware, these are only available on CD as relatively poor quality off-air copies. These are pristine copies, the vinyl being in excellent condition.
Also, fans of Jethro Tull will be interested to hear the three tracks on here, also specially recorded for the BBC, on 5th November 1968 also for 'Top Gear'.

The disc is in excellent condition, probably having been played only a few times for broadcast 40 years ago and kept on a shelf ever since. It comes with full paperwork.
