Description
For your consideration is a RARE, Un-peeled, UNTOUCHED “Butcher Cover” Yesterday and Today album! Still Has partial cellophane cover!
The cover is in VG+ condition. You can see that the “Trunk” cover is pasted over the original and controversial “Butcher” cover. The notable “V” from Ringo’s shirt in the Butcher cover shows through in the right hand side of the trunk. NO SPLITS, NO RING-WEAR. Images are vibrant and crisp, with some mellowing along the mouth opening.
The inside sleeve is the original Capitol Record ad sleeve. The ad sleeve has a small split in the middle of the bottom seam.
The record itself is in good condition, with some scuff marks. Side 1 has “ST2-2553-A1”, Side 2 has “ST2-2553-B4“ etched clearly into it the dead wax. Original black Capitol label with “rainbow” band along the label’s edge.
No hand writing of any kind, any where. Please check photos. Will be sent in heavy-duty packaging as to avoid any damage to record or album cover.
*I am not an expert. I describe the items as I see them and utilize my own research to find the details and values of the items. The items are described as pictured. The values I’ve set are based on multiple resources like and the latest Beatles Price Guides, as well as watching eBay for similar or identical items and what they go for. I’ve been researching the items in my Beatles collection for years this way. Please feel free to ask about any details I may have forgotten to include or look for, I love learning about this stuff!
