Catalogue no.CASB 007 - This record is a faithful reproduction of Sir Cliff's Legendary Demo 78 rpm in heavyweight vinyl - complete with the copies of the original centre labels. Included with the record are reproductions of original memorabilia from that period and also full details of the recording session.

THIS IS THE INFORMATION FROM CRUISIN’ WHEN THE 78’s WERE ISSUED
The records are pressed in heavyweight vinyl on an original 1950's machine at EMI. The lacquers used to make the metal masters were cut on an original 50's mono 78rpm lathe and are complete with a locked eccentric runout groove - this feature is required by early jukeboxes to reject the record.
To create an authentic rich 78rpm sound we were lucky with the help of Abby Road Studios to track down a Multi Award winning engineer who had worked for many of the UK's leading record labels including Columbia and Top Rank during the late 50's. With his skills and using original equipment we were able to once again produce true 78rpm records of the highest quality.
THIS RECORD CAN BE MIXED IN WITH SHELLAC 78's ON A JUKEBOX WITH A 78 RPM NEEDLE - IT IS NOT AN INFERIOR MICROGROOVE PRESSING.
IT CAN ALSO BE PLAYED ON A RECORD PLAYER WITH A 45/33 NEEDLE.
