This auction is for a very rare Elvis Presley acetate radio record from 1955, when Elvis was still with Sun Records, before RCA Victor.  

This is a duplicate of possibly one of his only studio recordings that he made when he visited KDAV to promote his evening show.  He recorded it for them to play later on the air, more than likely.  

The songs on the acetate record are "Fool Fool Fool" and "Blue Moon Boys".  The record has some scratches on it, they aren't very deep.  

The record is 6.5" in diameter.  It plays at 78 RPM only (on the one side).  The song is faint, but you can hear it pretty well.  This record has been played quite a bit.

I made in error in listing "Blue Moon Boys" as a song, when it was Elvis's band.  Also, we don't know if this particular record was made around 1955 or at a later date as a copy.  It looks like it might be an original duplicate, but we aren't for sure.
