Description

I recently picked up this intriguing acetate which features the talents of DONOVAN and CARTER LEWIS.The DONOVAN track is 'Just Gotta Know My Mind' ,a rough demo version of the song covered by Dana Gillespie much loved by psych/mod collectors.The other track is by CARTER LEWIS,who have recently had a compilation put together and initally featured the talents of Jimmy Page.Donovan recorded for Pye while Carter Lewis recorded for Piccadilly.The track is 'How Can I Turn Away'.The Donovan track is vg++ shape with surface marks while the Carter Lewis track is g++ as there is an amount of crackle.Whether Page actually plays on this track isn't clear but as a stand alone rarity it is essential.
