Description
For sale this rare and highly collectable, first press, vinyl record of Ice-Ts Body Count, "Body Count" album, released in 1992.
This original, and at the time highly controversial first press copy was banned shortly after its release and was pulled from the market, only to be reissued with the song "Cop Killer" replaced by "Freedom of Speech" and the cover artwork chest tattoo changed from "Cop Killer" to read "Body Count". The album was made as an angry response to the brutal beating of Rodney King at the hands of 4 white LAPD officers and was released shortly after the subsequent L.A. riots
The Album has the original printed inner sleeve, is in excellent used condition, with some low and minimal crackling on a few of the silent parts but otherwise very good (VG+). The cover has some age related wear, but nothing to overly detract.
Please get in touch if you require any more information/photos.
Thank you very much for looking.
