Description
Hank Ballard was born John Henry Kendricks. He was a rhythm and blues singer and the lead vocalist of Hank Ballard and The Midnighters. One of the first proto-rock 'n' roll artists to emerge in the early 1950s. He played an integral part in the development of rock music. He wrote and recorded "The Twist" and invented the dance, later adopted by Chubby Checkers. This is a vintage 33 RPM by Hank Ballard - Dance Along on King Records #759. The cover is in pretty good shape--the edges show a little wear. There is no inner sleeve. The record is on nice shape with little play wear. There are no obvious scratches. I haven't played the record, but it looks to be in nice condition.
Considering it's age, I think this is a very nice example of this rare album.
