Description
Vinyl pressing of Paul Kent - Same on the tiny B & C label out of the UK from 1971. I put this in the folk category because Paul is known as a folk artist & it seemed like the best place to put it. I am playing some of this l.p. now & a lot is quite excellent singer songwriter. The vocals for me are very reminiscent of Gilbert O'Sullivan & that's a good thing here. Paul & Gilbert have that sensitive SSW vibe going on at times. Prior to this l.p. Paul put out an l.p. as P.C. Kent. There's a song on this l.p. titled "Don't Seduce Your Best Friend's Wife" that brings to mind Nick Drake. On "Cool Surprise" you may hear a hint of Elton John. Paul gets down to it with fuzz guitar on "Upstairs Coming Down" & "Rainy Day" & brings to mind early Argent. He's got some heavyweight session men behind him too in Tony Reeves & Roger Powell. Great l.p. Paul is is a real talent. The cover is EX. & the vinyl is Near Mint.
( I ship on Saturdays. If you pay me after 1:30 p.m. on a Saturday, your l.p. will not be shipped until the next Saturday.)
Leave me feedback and I will return the courtesy. Delivery confirmation is a must and is worked into the cost of shipping. I accept Paypal only. Gold, precious stones and your first born can be negotiated. If paying by Paypal, payment is expected within 3 days unless other arrangements are made. Insurance will be provided upon request and is to be paid for by the customer. My overseas customers are very important to me and have given me a lot of support. However, I cannot be responsible for uninsured packages. I do pack well and in a professional manner with standard record mailers. I also place a cardboard support inside the mailer for protection and to help prevent any bending. Records are removed from their covers and both are placed in a protective, clear plastic outer sleeve. It's a tried and true method that has never been improved upon. I do offer refunds if the item you won is not as described. I ship every Saturday.
