Description

PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question.   OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. Because of that dedication, there should be no need to open a resolution dispute before working with us.  Please keep in mind, we would prefer to continue to provide you the opportunity to acquire the rare music we present each and every week.   Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable.  We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 18,000 positive feedback.   We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so. Thank you for your interest and support.   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ SHIPPING:   USA ~ 1 LP = $4.00 Media Priority rates vary by area; please inquire.   All Canadian and Overseas shipping ~ Please inquire about rates.     UK - (red/wine) DECCA RECORDS - LK 4790) MONAURAL

PLAYS CLEAN  !!!    52+ years young!

GLORIOUS MONO SONG MIXES are most suitable for this pounding punker with melodic appeal & scream/shout vocals ala rave-up action....

Here's a rare and original MONO 1966 BRITISH only pressing on the red/silver British DECCA label with laminated cover.

NEVER (unbelievably) released in the USA, the album marks as one of the TOP level -ever sizzling beat-rock aggressions; up their with the first Kinks LP and such...teen scream glories throughout... a most essential LP for ANYONE into '60s UK beat (or USA '60s garage) ravers!

Small Faces (no title) was the first album by the Small Faces, released in May 1966 by British Decca Records. It includes the hit singles "Whatcha Gonna Do About It" and "Sha-La-La-La-Lee". The album was well received by music critics and was popular with the public, rising to number 3 on the UK album chart remaining at the top for several weeks.

The legendary Glyn Johns was the studio engineer and in 1966, the Small Faces LP became one of the biggest selling UK artists of the year.

Yardbirds, Animals, Kinks, early rave-up edgy scream-punk rockers about led by raw / gritty guitar, nothing like their mod-pop gems that followed.

Small Faces were from East London and the group was founded in 1965 by members Steve Marriott, Ronnie Lane, Kenney Jones, and Jimmy Winston, although by 1966 Winston was replaced by Ian McLagan as the band's keyboardist.

The band is remembered as one of the most acclaimed and influential mod groups of the 1960s with memorable hit songs such as "Itchycoo Park", "Lazy Sunday", "All or Nothing", and "Tin Soldier", as well as their concept album Ogdens' Nut Gone Flake. They later evolved into one of the UK's most successful psychedelic bands until 1969.

This is their RAW, primitive and impressive first album, arguably their best and of course hard to find in clean condition, never released in North America as such.

The "fan man" comments: This "wired" LP gets way heavier than you would imagine with those young smiling faces on the cover.

Overall this is a really solid album of British R&B / Garage Rock that seems like its been forgotten but to me it can rival The Animals, The Stones, even early Beatles
