Artist: James Brown and the Famous Flames
Title: Please, Please, Please
Label/Cat #: King 610
Year: 1958
Condition vinyl: VG most of surface sheen, light hairline marks (mostly small but a few longer ones) on both sides are visible but not feelable; plays with quiet crackle but sounds great!! Condition sleeve: VG- top and bottom seams neatly repaired long ago with small pieces of tape; light corner ding lower right; discoloring on back; despite flaws presents quite nicely
Comments: Rare '58 first pressing w/ Legs Cover variant. Deep groove King labels. Check my listings this week for a PILE of other LP's by the Godfather of Soul including some more early issue rarities!
**Please see listing photos to evaluate jacket and record label condition (will always post photo of the WORST looking side if there is a difference) - any soundclips used for auctions are recorded directly from the item offered with no enhancements, audio "clean ups" or other alterations**
Thank you for reading and again please check my other listings for more rare 45s and LPs in this genre. If you have any questions please ask. I pride myself on honest grading and helpful communication.
Grading: I grade conservatively on a scale of: NM (rarely applied to a used record, must look absolutely pristine), EX (a true top copy worthy of any collection with 1 or 2 truly minor imperfections), VG+ (a minimal amount of marks may be seen under bright light with none deep enough to significantly effect playback), VG (perfectly good playing copy but may show slightly more than minimal marks with 1 or 2 maximum being feelable), VG- (still an eminently listenable record that will show numerous superficial and possibly several more impacting marks), G (will play through but could be a "noisy" listen the result of numerous surface marks of various severities).
Postage: USA: MEDIA MAIL $4.00 (up to 4 LPs or 6 45s) $6.00 (up to 8 LPs or 12 45s) ASK for higher quantity rates WORLD: FIRST CLASS $18.50 first LP or $11.50 first 45 + $2.50 per each additional
