Up for auction here at NO RESERVE is Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture, Mendelssohn's "Fingal's Cave", Liszt's "Mephisto Waltz" and Brahms' "Tragic Overture" performed by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra conducted by Fritz Reiner on the shaded dog RCA Living Stereo label, catalog #LSC-2241. The cover is VG with some seam splitting on top and bottom. The previous owner has taped the complete top and 4 inches in the center on bottom, but the artwork looks nice and is undisturbed. The record with 1S, 1S stampers is VG, but no marks are deep. I decided to play this one since it doesn't look so great and the value is so high. I did not make any attempt to clean it up at all besides using a carbon fiber brush to remove loose dust, so it will probably clean up and play much better for you. There were no loud repeated clicks from any of the marks, but a fair amount of intermittent low level surface noise and crackling. It wasn't noticeable during the louder degments (which are quite numerous on this LP). But during quieter parts it was a little distracting. If you can't put up with a little surface noise and some light crackle, I'd skip this one. Be sure to view my other auctions for more great audiophile pressings and great classical LPs.

It automatically becomes Priority Mail. Any package valued over $200 must also be shipped Priority Mail. Shipping via Priority Mail starts at $38 for a 4 lb. package (usually around 5 records).
