1966 New age folk blues psych
First pressing of his 2nd album
Paste-on matte sleeve has a small amount of cover/ring wear more prominent on the front.
A tiny under 2.5cm/1” seam split on the top & bottom opening.
Solid undamaged spine.
Clean matte white rear shows a very small amount of cover/ring wear.
Numbers written on rear.
Vinyl looks mint and new.
One very tiny hairline appearing under very strong light which probably came from sliding into the paper inner sleeve.
Perfectly clean labels with no spindle hole marks.
The mysterious Robbie Basho (Daniel Robinson, born 1940 in Baltimore) took up John Fahey's solo-guitar music, wed it to eastern mysticism (way before new-age music was invented), mixed in elements of middle-eastern, Indian, Latin and Japanese music (way before world-music was invented), and added experimentation derived from jazz improvisation (way before fusion was invented). Seal Of The Blue Lotus(1965), The Grail And the Lotus (1966) andFalconer's Arm (1967) are simply unique.Venus In Cancer (1969) and Song Of The Stallion (1971) are more than unique.
