This is the first pressing MONO UK LP "BEGGARS BANQUET" by the ROLLING STONES published in 1968 with the RED UNBOXED DECCA label
-LK4955.
THIS COPY FEATURES EARLY STAMPS AND J/T TAX CODE STAMPED ON THE SIDE-1, SIDE-2 RUN OUT AND ON THE LABELS.

VINYL EX. Beautiful original nearly unmarked gloss which looks almost MINT. Under halogen light there is a very faint hairline but no other marks/hairlines. Plays pretty much MINT - very near silent intros/between tracks - no pops/clicks or track wear. This is a fantastic very early copy which looks and plays very nearly MINT. Matrix numbers:- XARL-8476-4A , XARL-8477-2A. 1 A, 1 O.
LABELS EX. Nice original condition almost unmarked - see photos.
SLEEVE EX. Light creases. Very clean - no splits, tears or writing. (see detailed photo) . Polysleeve is also included.
INNER SLEEVE EX. Original RED MONO - no creases - no tears/splits or wear.
[My gradings are based on the "RECORD COLLECTOR'S" grading system. The following text is from the "RECORD COLLECTOR" price guide: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.
