Description

ROLLING STONES "STICKY FINGERS" 1971 U.S. Rolling Stones Records LP w/working zipper! Stereo COC 59100. VG+/M-.

1971 was a new beginning for the Rolling Stones. They had a new guitarist with Mick Taylor replacing Brian Jones and a new record label- their own Rolling Stones Records imprint distributed by Atlantic Records. They were also producing some of their strongest music ever- "Can't You Hear Me Knocking", "Wild Horses", "Sister Morphine" & the double-sided smash single "Brown Sugar" & "Bitch"- a #1 record in May, 1971. The rest of the band remained Keith Richards, Bill Wyman, Charlie Watts & Mick Jagger on lead vocals. This Andy Warhol designed cover has the metal zipper-still working after all these years plus the special inner sleeve with a b&w photo of the group on one side & track information & the new lips logo on the reverse. A nice example of the original 1971 U.S. pressing.

10 tracks- Brown Sugar, Sway, Wild Horses, Can't You Hear Me Knocking, You Gotta Move, Bitch, I Got The Blues, Sister Morphine, Dead Flowers & Moonlight Mile.

Cover has very minor ring wear on the front & back & slight wear around the zipper. Still very presentable & intact- rated at Very Good +. The record looks & sounds great with a slight apaer scuff on side 1 which does not affect play. Overall rating near MINT. Special inner sleeve is MINT. Beautiful yellow Rolling Stones Records labels look great.  Very few plays on this record..
