Description
ROSE BATISTE - HIT AND RUN / I MISS MY BABY [REVILOT 204]
Label: Revilot 204 Titles: "Hit And Run" & "I Miss My Baby" Year: 1966
Yes, this might be a confusing listing. The photos you see shows the Chris Montez single "Time After Time". The single was released in October 1966. That very same month, soul siren Rose Batiste released her Northern Soul staple "Hit And Run." Clearly A&M and Revilot had their singles pressed by the same company. But somehow this Rose Batiste classic ended up shuffled in with the Montez single and as a result was labelled incorrectly. Although the label reads Chris Montez, the single is actually the original pressing of "Hit And Run." An interesting mixup! An original pressing with a label error. Not even sure how to properly list it as far as the record label and number. While it is Rose Batiste on Revilot 204, it is labelled as Chris Montez A&M 822!!!!
The label has minimal wear on either side, although there is a small "BB" hole in the label. The "BB" hole is much more prominent on the "Time After Time"/"Hit And Run" side. There is no writing or stickers on either side. The vinyl has typical signs of playwear. You can listen to the actual record here.

*Please note - my turntable is a simple ION Profile LP simply for converting media. It is by no means a high end turntable and the sound quality will be MUCH better on a higher end turn table.
All records come with basic sleeves unless a factory or picture sleeve is indicated in the description. I do not use a grading system as I feel that everyone interprets it differently. For example, I see many records listed as being Near Mint, yet the label is torn or has writing on it. To me that is not near mint. I prefer to describe the record as best I can, post photos, and allow viewers to listen to the actual record as to determine for themselves how the record should be graded.
I ship using Media Mail at $3.00 and deliver the day of or after the payment is received. Please remember that shipping costs also include the cost of materials to ship the order. International shipping is available. The cost to ship this Internationally is $14.00. I will also combine shipping. I try to keep shipping costs as low as possible, however recent increases by USPS have affected what I charge to ship - and believe me, I am NOT happy about it.
I am happy to ship internationally, however I will not change the value of the record. There are many reasons for this. First, I enjoy selling records and do not want to jeopardize that. Second, I include a receipt with the order and if customs were to examine the package, they would see the difference. Third, if something were to happen to the item in shipping, I would refund the customers money, but then not be able to claim what was lost. Thanks you for understanding.
These are the numbers that were properly stamped on the Rose Batiste single.
