1ST Press Canada Mercury Records SRM 1-1011

This is the first official release after the Moon Label Distribution.

SRO and Mercury Records Canada.

The vinyl has the MN-100-A and MN-100-B stampers on the vinyl run off, the exact same pressing as the Moon 1st Press, This red label pressing is way rarer than the later Red Label pressing with the SRM-1-1011 stamped in the run off.

The Red labels are very clean, side 1 is slightly misspressed off centre. The vinyl itself is very clean and has no scratches or dings, it still has a high gloss sheen. I have played it through and it sounds Amazing, no crackles or pops.

The inner bag is the original thick newspaper type which was typical for the early canada distribution.

The thick cardboard cover is in awesome condition for this very first Mercury Press. All the signs of the Original Moon pressing are still visible on this cover. The Red print in the letters is very crisp and sharp, MN-100 is visible under the Mercury badge on the front bottom right hand side of the cover. The spine is intact and very clean, again the MN-100 is visible under the blacked out bar on the spine. The back of the cover only has 1 flaw, there isd red writing in the top left corner and the top right coner which is barley visible. The top edge has a little seam cracking (I have tried to get it in the photo).

Do not let this gem get away, this is a must have in any Rush LP Collection, It is a very rare pressing from my own personal collection.
