Description

This auction sale is for a recording of Rafael Kubelik conducting the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra performing Tchaikovsky's Forth Symphony in F Minor, OP. 36. This record is a UK Stereo pressing on the HMV Gold and Creme label ASD 398, with a matrix code 2YEA 426- 1/ 2 The heavy duty laminate flipback sleeve has some noticeable wear the top and bottom corners of the spine which are bumped/ worn.  There is a little blistering of the laminate to the spine edge on the cover. However the sleeve is otherwise structurally sound, free from seam splits and spine / spine titles intact so I would conservatively grade as VG -/ G++.
The record itself is in better condition with a beautiful clean sheen and free from any noticeble surface wear a very well cared for disc. The labels are also clean and free from any wear, I would therefore confidently grade as Excellent  has obviously benefited from careful play and it's plastic lined inner.  I have carefully played this disc through both sides and noticed no faults (skips, pops, jumps or audible distortion) plays with a rich dynamic sound. I am hoping to auction this lesser spotted pressing so sorry I am not offering a buy it now price, thanks for looking.
