All of my records are graded visually. I also take photos with low angle light from two directions in order to highlight flaws in the vinyl, so please look at the photos closely to decide on how you'd grade the record.
For potentially higher value records, I provide a sample video with audio recorded via an interface device (turntable -> receiver phono in -> receiver line out -> interface -> iPhone). I normalize the audio levels, and for mono records I mix down to mono. I do not do any noise reduction - I want you to be confident you know what you are bidding on.
