Description

There are six early Jazz records with twenty six large 12" X 13" photos of the premiere Jazz artists of the 1940's 50's.This NORMAN GRANZ signed edition # 2853  of 5000 was his attempt  at presenting then present day Jazz with written word, visual and auditory - three dimensional as it were. This Folio Album contains the great photography done by Gjon Mili with the exceptions of Ralph Burns by Harold Trudeau and Bud Powell  and Max Roach by Paul Nodler. Album contains original drawing by David Martin. The six recordings are done by DUKE ELLINGTON - CHARLIE PARKER - COLEMAN HAWKINS -LISTER YOUNG - RALPH BURNS - GEORGE HANDY - CHARLIE PARKER - WILLIE SMIYH - MACHITO - BUD POWELL -. The records are free of chips and cracks,the outer black  canvas cover shows some wear and minor spotting, interior pages show age yellowing and one with ink markings. I describe my offerings  best I can  and refund purchase price less shipping if misrepresented.
