Description
Rare Aluminum Acetate 78 RPM possible test pressing of Ike Quebec Quintet on Side 1 playing Indiana dated 2/20/47 and Erroll Garner playing Laura. There is a chance that this may be a Transcription LP as well for around the ring of the label there is a sentence that says" Use Duotone cutting and Transcription Needs for Best results". DuoDisc Aluminum Base is printed on both sides of the lp On the Lp sleeve, there is a sig asking that you use Duotone Hardening fluid to get more plays from this recording. This is obviously the original sleeve that this 1947 pressing Lp came in. On the other side of the sleeve it asks that you use Duotone Shadow graph Needles No.725. Lastly , there is a advertisement on the bottom of the sleeve that says that Duotone Star Sapphire needles should be used for this recording. I hope all of this helps to determine how rare this is so you can bid accordingly. This acetate is from a long lost box of acetates found at a collectors estate.
