Description
Up for auction is another one of my coveted Beatles’ 2nd State Mono (unpeeled) Butcher cover with vinyl lp. The 2nd state version has the “Trunk Cover” pasted on top. The photos clearly show Ringo’s black V neck sweater about 3” below the word “Today” printed on the cover. This is a #6 West Coast production with the correct vinyl, (factory stamped asterisk in the trail off areas of vinyl). Includes an original Capitol 1966 orange inner sleeve (PE-12-3BL. The inner sleeve looks good but has seam splits on 2 sides and small tear at center top on one side, if it really matters. Nice vinyl lp with great labels and glossy vinyl. Vinyl has minor scratches and wear on each side and plays through, if it really matters since the value is in the cover. Complete vintage package here. The butcher underneath is in great shape with no attempts to peel. From back cover, there is scotch tape which is hard to see from near bottom right corner up to alittle over 1/2 way up that wraps the seam over on front only to beginning of the trunk cover slick, so no tape on trunk slick. The photos show any issues on all seams, so judge condition for yourself and ask any questions before bidding. Back cover shows some age browning which we often see on these 59 year old covers. Crease at top back right corner. 5 day auction, so highest bidder will win. Payment due within 24 hours of auction’s end. Item ships UPS insured within 48 business hours of confirmed receipt of payment in my ebay account. Item sold as is, so no refunds or returns. No international bidders please, sorry. Seller/buyer on ebay for 37 years with 100 % positive feedback. Lots of recent sales. Enjoy and good luck!
