Description
Hello and welcome to my auction!
Before I give you a description of this Beatles 78rpm Record, please read the following information carefully.
I’m in the US Military serving overseas here in the Pacific. All items I sell are shipped via USPS Priority mail or First Class mail and must pass thru both the military and civilian postal systems. The military mail system is reliable, but it can be quite slow at times.
PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT BID ON THIS ITEM UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING TO WAIT 14 TO 28 DAYS FOR IT TO ARRIVE. (The average time shipping time using Priority Mail is about 17 days.) This is an international transaction and your patience in receiving your shipment is greatly appreciated!
ALSO, I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL ANY BIDS FROM BUYERS WITH LESS THAN TEN TRANSACTIONS OR THOSE WITH EXCESSIVE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK. Please contact me before bidding if you are new to Ebay or have feedback below 99%. Sorry people I have been burned too many times!
PAYMENT:
BECAUSE OF MY REMOTE LOCATION, THE ONLY METHOD OF PAYMENT I ACCEPT IS PAYPAL.
PAYMENT IS DUE WITHIN THREE DAYS OF CLOSE OF AUCTION. Money orders and checks take weeks to arrive, so it’s not a practical way for me to accept payment. Thanks for understanding! I try my best to get your item in the mail to you within 48 hours of payment. Many times I can ship the same day I receive payment.
SHIPPING:
When the auction ends I will calculate shipping charges based on your zip code. I ONLY CHARGE ACTUAL SHIPPING COSTS ON MY AUCTIONS. Unlike other Ebay sellers, I do not try to make a profit on bogus shipping and handling charges!
Because this record is so valuable and fragile, Insurance is mandatory. Please use the USPS insurance table and simply add the correct amount when you check out on Ebay. For buyers outside the USA, insurance is not usually an option, but I can send by certified mail if you are willing to pay for that service.

MY GUARANTEE:
I stand behind all my auctions and I offer all buyers a simple, 100% NO HASSLE SATISFACTION GUARANTEE. If for any reason you are not happy with the item you purchased from me, you may return it within 30 days of receipt for a full refund, less all shipping charges. (If the item is new and/or sealed, it must be returned in the same original condition to receive a refund. I think that’s only fair. Don’t you?)
Furthermore, if you can prove to me that my auction description was in any way inaccurate or misleading, I WILL REFUND ALL YOUR SHIPPING CHARGES TOO! What could be more fair than that?
I consider myself an extremely easy and fair person to deal with and will bend over backwards to make our transaction a successful and happy one. Just communicate with me in a friendly manner and you will see how quickly and fairly I will resolve any problems.
FEEDBACK:
When I receive positive feedback from you indicating that we have had a good transaction, I will be more than happy to leave you positive feedback in return.
HOWEVER, IF YOU DECIDE TO LEAVE ME “NEUTRAL OR NEGATIVE FEEDBACK”, MY “100% NO HASSLE SATISFACTION GUARANTEE” IS NULL AND VOID! I will not refund your money or accept any returns. I will consider our transaction final and will not agree to any further debate concerning a refund. This includes using Square Trade! Negative feedback is the wrong way to deal with me and I take great offense when someone damages my Ebay reputation.
BY BIDDING ON MY AUCTION YOU AGREE TO ALL THE TERMS STATED ABOVE. THANKS!
GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY BIDDING!

Up for bid is an incredibly rare Beatles 78 rpm single from the Philippines. The two songs on this record are: “And I Love Her” and “I Should Have Known Better.”
There’s no date on the labels but I think this particular record was manufactured some time between 1964 and 1966.
In the early to mid sixties Beatles records were still being manufactured in the 78 rpm format in both the Philippines and India. These super rare records were made from shellac or laquer and are, to say the least, very fragile and delicate. It’s not often that you find these records on Ebay and it’s very difficult to find a copy in collectible condition. Very few have survived. Here’s your chance to own a rare piece of Beatles history.
Condition:
My copy has very clean and clear labels on both sides- I would grade them between a VG and VG+.
The record has plenty of scuffs and scratches on both sides, but it still retains much of it’s original luster. (I’ve never seen a Beatles 78 rpm record that was in anywhere near true near mint condition.) I'm not really sure how to grade this but I guess the recorded surfaces would be a VG.
What’s great about this record is that unlike 95% of the copies I’ve seen on Ebay, this record has absolutely no chips along the edges!
Because this record is so fragile, insurance is mandatory. I will ship this record double boxed with lots of padding to make sure it arrives safely to it’s new owner.
I just reduced the price to the lowest I'm willing to accept for this rare record. I WILL ship to any international address as long as you can pay via PAYPAL.
Good Luck!
Mike
PS: If you are the winner be sure NOT to use alcohol based vinyl record cleaners! Use only record cleaners and preservatives that are specially made for shellac and laquer based 78rpm records.
