Description
Lovely original UK Page One Records White and Red 'A' label demo of this sought after an obscure piece of UK 1960s female pop/folk. I know little about Joy Rose but she was a Larry Page discovery and recorded a couple of releases for Page One in 1967/8 and then seems to have disappeared. Very few copies sold and so incredibly rare release and cover of this classic Janis Ian folk track (which was also released by Verve as a single in the UK but also did not chart). A classic pairing of sides of Society's Child on the A-Side and the Larry Page track Waltzing to Jazz on the B-side. The demo/promo has the release date of 19-5-1967 and catalogue number POF 025. Rare in any version.
Very rare demo of this sought after record. Condition of vinyl is certainly EX - just one long but light scratch on A side that does not affect play. Hardly played. Original birth sleeve VG+. Lovely obscure female pop and cover of Janis Ian classic. Hard to find in any condition.
Offered at a sensible BIN given the rarity and demand for this record in any condition.
Dispatched in proper record mailer with card insert by Royal Mail 2nd Class signed for large letter.
