It is our number one priority. We grade accurately, honestly and conservatively. We want our customers to be pleased when they receive our records. We are just as discerning when selling records as we are when buying. Buy with confidence as all our records are FULLY GUARANTEED (although we rarely get "returns"). We believe that a (VG) condition record should mean "Very Good", as it was originally designed to, not "Very Bad"! All cover and vinyl problems (e.g. seam splits, writing, warps, etc.) are noted in addition to the grade. We believe that by listing the "defects" and grading honestly, the collector will be able to visualize the condition of the record before bidding. We hope this eliminates any "surprises" for the buyer. We visually grade all items carefully under very bright light. Whether the record is worth $50 or $50,000; whether it was issued in the 1950s or the 1990s, they all receive equal scrutiny.
Mint. – Perfect, flawless. We rarely, if ever, use this grade.
M- or NRMT (Mint Minus or Near Mint) – Usually our highest grade. Records from the 1950s & 60s in this condition are truly rare.
VG++ (Very Good Plus Plus) – Beautiful collectible condition. Many of our VG++ items would grade M- elsewhere.
VG+ (Very Good Plus) - Great condition. Well cared for.
VG (Very Good) – Still good condition, but more wear than VG+.
VG- (Very Good Minus) - Generally not collectible condition, unless it's a super rare record.
G (Good) – Lots of wear, but still playable.
WBR (Wrecked But Rare) – Otherwise known as a "Starter Copy". Not cracked, but a starter copy.

This is further information that we have been able to research and we believe to be true about this record. We believe it to be copy of the legendary U2 Australian Competition winners' 45. For the '89 Tour a competition was organised whereby the winner got to see U2 and also received a 45 as well. Winners' copies were numbered and came with a compliments note from Festival Records and 105FM , the competition's sponsors.
This copy is not numbered and does not have a note. It is believed that 105 copies (reflecting the station's name) were pressed - 100 of which were prizes and the other 5 were quickly claimed by enterprising Festival / 105FM staff.
On 19-Mar-05 at 10:00:37 AEDST, seller added the following information: Thankyou to the eBay user who sent me the following further info about this record - " Only the first 33 purple vinyl records were numbered and given away in the radio competition with the certificate. The other 67 were unnumbered and given to Festival Records employees and associates."
