Description
Rare original 1st pressing of this superb post punk LP “Jeopardy” by The Sound
Korova labels and original inner.
Matrix numbers:
Side 1 - KODE - 2 - A-2 STRAWBERRY W060 W-2
Side 2 - KODE - 2 - B1
The vinyl visually grades VG with lots of fine hairlines and paper scuffs under strong light. It was very very dirty when I first got it and looked to have had Coca Cola or something similar spilt on it. I have given this a thorough clean and played it through twice. It plays at least VG+ to EX-. A little light crackle in a few places only (spaces between tracks and run ins, etc) a few very soft clicks and nothing that comes close to overpowering the music. There is a stain on one label. Overall grade given as VG+ but still a very decent sounding and playable 1st pressing of this classic and atmospheric post punk record. No loud pops, clicks, no sticking or jumping.
The sleeve is VG to VG+. Small stain on front and light storage wear. Lightly textured card sleeve.
Original inner is also VG to VG+ with fingerprints under strong light. See photos.
