Description
This auction features a hard to find copy of R.B. Hudmon's disco single titled "Searching for Your Love" with the reddish-orange colored cover. The record cover is in good condition with some bends and blemishes. The record itself is near mint and very clean. I would give the record and cover an overall grade of very good. In case you are interested, I have other records for sale among my other listings. If you win more than one group, I can provide a combined shipping discount. I will also be selling more albums and 45 rpm records in the upcoming weeks.
Record Grading (based on the Goldmine standard)
A near mint record is nearly perfect and would look like it was just purchased new. The NM cover would not have any noticeable wear
Very good to Very good + records show only a little wear and may have minor scratches and/or a little cover wear. VG to VG + records have generally been well cared for and play smoothly with minimal surface noise.
Good to good + records are the "common" condition record that you would find at a garage sale and have been well played. They generally will have quite a bit of cover wear and may have a split spine and/or moderate surface wear on the cover. The G to G+ record will often have some moderate scratches that can be felt with a fingernail and the record will have significant surface noise when played.
I would not consider any of the records which I am selling to be in poor or fair condition. According to Goldmine record grading, a poor or fair record would be cracked, badly warped, and won't play through without skipping or repeating. The album covers on these would be badly damaged and all 3 seams would often be split.
