Description

Johannes Brahms: The Four Symphonies

Sir Simon Rattle conducting the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra.

Direct-to-disc recording from 2014.

Strictly limited 6LP luxury box set. Only 1833 copies were made, 1200 of which were meant for international distribution.

This is no. 581 of those 1200.

The box contains a certificate of limitation (recordings were not made available outside of this edition), a gorgeous 72-page hardcover-book

and two high definition black & white prints.

  • Condition Box, Book, Prints: Mint. Virtually no detectable wear, all in pristine condition.

  • Condition Vinyl: NM. Records have probably been played only once, some rather never.

Unfortunately the pre-owner has somehow managed to get a small hairline-mark on side 1 of record 2. It's not deep or long
but it produces some subdued crackling during about 2-3 minutes. The rest of the LPs is in virtually mint condition

General Information:

- Shipping-rates may differ for different destinations, please check details below for more information or shortly adress me.

- I offer combined shipping for multiple purchases and I'll always send an invoice with correct rates shortly after auction-end.

- Unless you notify me in time, payment is expected within 5 days after receiving of invoice. If I don't at least hear from you in between, I'll send a non-payment notification through Ebay
   afterwards.

- I use sturdy cardboard-boxes and cardboard-dividers, both specifically designed for the safe shipping of vinyl records.

- Most LPs receive new antistatic innersleeves (in addition to the original ones, which of course are also provided). I, however, don't add new sleeves, if the original ones seem fitting.

- If in doubt about anything, please contact me, I'm glad to assist you with any possible queries!

A note about my record-grading:

I usually only visually grade the LPs under strong light and I only playgrade them ( i.e. the portions that seem to have signs of usage), if I can't be sure of their actual condition.
If records show stronger signs of soiling I'll professionally clean them (Okki Nokki RCM), but I'm not doing this if it's obviously only dust, as I know that collectors usually prefer their
very own way of record-cleaning.

My goal is to always decribe the records appropriately and I will name every visible and/or audible defect in my detailed description. If regardless of my precautions
you should ever be dissatisfied with the condition of a record, please contact me before leaving negative or neutral feedback to give me the chance to resolve your query.
I'm confident, however, that this will hardly ever be the case. I've been selling records for many years now and so far complaints fortunately have been the utter exception!
