GET THIS LP FRESH OFF THE RECENT NEWS THAT RITCHIE BLACKMORE HAD A HEART ATTACK AND HAD 6 STENTS PLACED IN HIM. WISHING HIM A FULL AND SPEEDY RECOVERY.THIS IS A REALLY NICE COPY. THE COVER AND VINYL ARE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION!
PLEASE NOTE: THE LP HAS TYPICAL WEAR FROM AGE THAT INCLUDES SURFACE MARKS. THE SURFACE MARKS DO NOT CAUSE ANY SKIPS, BUT YOU WILL HEAR SURFACE NOISE TYPICAL WITH A VERY GOOD GRADING.
THE COVER HAS WEAR THAT IS TYPICAL WITH AGE THAT HAS CAUSED FADING, PEELING, CORNER DINGS / SOFTERS, SCRAPES, RING WEAR, CREASES, CRUMPLES, ETC...ALL OF WHICH ARE TYPICAL WITH A VERY GOOD GRADING.
IF ANY OF THESE ISSUES ARE A CONCERN FOR YOU PLEASE DON'T BUY IT.
AS A BONUS I HAVE INCLUDED A Black & White PHOTOCOPY of THE SUPER RARE ORIGINAL Hype Sticker. I like to add a PHOTOCOPY of the hype sticker, if I have it, as an added bonus as they are usually discarded and are hard to find.
PLAY TESTED! I RECENTLY PLAYED THIS LP AND IT SOUNDS AWESOME! but you may hear surface noise typical with a Very Good grading.
Up for sale is one(1) Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow - Self Titled Debut LP from 1975 on Polydor / Oyster Records (#PD 6049). This is a First pressing.
And if that wasn't enough, it was Produced by Martin "The Wasp" Birch. Has "THE WASP" and "KENDUN" etched in the dead wax on Side 1 and has "KENDUN" etched in the dead wax on Side 2 signaling a high quality mastering.

Ritchie Blackmore, formerly of Deep Purple on lead guitar.
And future member of Black Sabbath, The One, The Only, RONNIE JAMES DIO on vocals. It is an absolute travesty that Ronnie James Dio is not in The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame!
The vinyl is in VERY GOOD condition with typical wear from age that may cause surface noise typical with an VERY GOOD grading. Even with an VERY GOOD grading there is going to be a certain amount of surface noise. More noticible during the quiet parts.
Nice clean labels with some spindle marks.The cover is in Very Good condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to soft corners / corner dings, fadining, scrapes, peeling, ring wear, etc... THERE ARE NO SPLIT SEAMS.
This cover typically does not age well, but this one is in Very Good shape.
The LP comes in a plain inner sleeve.
