Dr. Kenny McComas is founder and pastor of the renown Calvary Baptist Church, Rittman, Ohio. He is also President of the Calvary Christian Schools at Wadsworth, Ohio. Dr. McComas came into national prominence several years ago when he preached two patriotic sermons which were entered into the Congressional Record. He has been highly acclaimed for his patriotic views by conservative congressmen, senators and governors. One of his sermons brought praise from the President of the United States. Pastor McComas has traveled extensively in Bible Conferences, Evangelis- tic and Missionary work. He has preached on four continents and seen great numbers respond to the gospel appeal. He has recorded twenty long-play albums. He has sixteen titles on cassettes and has written several books. His book on prayer and the Holy Spirit is considered by many to be a classic. He has written the biographies of Dr. B. R. Lakin and Dr. Hyman Appleman and is now preparing the manuscripts for two new releases. Dr. McComas gives most credit to Dr. B. R. Lakin for influencing and challenging his life as a young man to give his best for God. He received an Honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from Midwestern Seminary at Pontiac, Michigan. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Midwestern Baptist College. Are millions of helpless, innocent babies born into this world predestined to an eternal Hell without hope of reprieve? If you follow the line of thinking of the hyper Calvinist to its logical conclusion, it must be determined God extends no mercy whatsoever to the non-elect. This doctrine caused a famous liberal theologian to call God a big bully. Dr. McComas clears these perplexing questions on this album by giving the unadulterated word of God. The fore- knowledge of God cannot be understood by finite creatures. The wisdom of God cannot be lowered to a level of human understand- ing. The way of salvation, however, has been made so simple the wayfaring man should not error therein. It doesn't require intellect- ualism or years of deep theological study to understand “whosoever will may come" or “whosoever believeth on Him shall not perish." Fortunately, Paul the Apostle had not been exposed to doctrines of Calvinism when he wrote young Timothy saying, "God will have all men to be saved and come unto the knowledge of the truth." Mr. Spurgeon said while speaking on the subject of divine election and free will, "Brethren, be billing to see both sides of this shield of truth. Rise above the babyhood which cannot believe two doctrines until it sees the connecting link. Have you not two eyes, man? Must your needs put one of them out in order to see clearly?" There are two sides and Dr. McComas clearly presents them on this album. This sermon is an absolute masterpiece on the subject. Every home in America should have this album.
