Description
- This is a “good news-bad news” offering of the very rare Robert Johnson Columbia 6 eye monaural original 16 track LP “King Of The Delta Blues Singers” (Columbia CL 1654).
- The good news is this is a genuine first issue of this scarce blues LP. Other good news is that side one has just a few light marks that play crisp and clear with an acceptable amount of surface noise.
- The bad new is that side two has a scratch literally from the leading edge to the trailoff dead wax. It does not skip on my system but it is audible from start to finish. There are a few other lighter marks that give acceptable surface noise (like side 1).
- The labels are in surprisingly excellent condition. The cover (no cutout) shows wear primarily on the seams but the graphics and very detailed liner notes are clear. There is a name written on the top back.
- I normally take back items and give a refund of purchase price but, because I have been totally up-front regarding the condition, I will not accept a return on this item. Bidders from outside the US please take notice of my policy this one time.
