Description

For auction I have an original US pressing from the late fifties of 'King Of The Delta Blues' by the great bluesman Robert Johnson
This is the stiff card cover which is in excellent shape for its age with no seam splitting or worn corners, the rear of the cover has gatherered a slight darkening with age but all the text is perfectly ledgeable..

Just a quick word about the photo's , for some reason the back of the sleeve pictures have come out all weird, it is perfect I assure you, also the picture of the record looks like it has something on it , it hasnt, its the reflection off the television!

Its the original first press '6 eye' red columbia issue cat No CL1654 very rare and much sought after

All track are taken from the original Vocalion masters with all master numbers on the sleeve info and recording dates etc.. despite modern technology there is still no finer sounding issues than this other than the original 78's when in good condition and uless you're Eric Clapton or a millionaire blues collector its unlikely you will be privvy to such gems!

Vinyl is in EX condition with inner protective sleeve , I have had this over 25 years so its not had many owners..
