Description
Get your hands on this rare Rolling Stones 1st Album with the quickly Withdrawn version of ' Tell Me '
It is a demo version and shorter than the standard releases version - 2:52.
This has never been officially released since. This was a very rare error and doesn't turn up often. Even rarer this also has the 1st earliest issue labels with MONA instead of I NEED YOU BABY.
The matrix numbers are XARL 6271 -2A and XARL 6272 - 1A
Red DECCA labels catalogue number LK 4605.
The cover is the original non flipback 1st print - the rarer cover is it just says made in England and does not have a sleeve maker credited.
It's in very good condition with some light creasing, the rear is clean and free from writing - there is a small rough patch top left which is barely noticeable, it's either a graze or maybe where once was a sticker, otherwise No tears, stickers or writing.
The record is in good condition with marks and hairlines with a handful of deeper lines but these are not feelable with a finger tip. There is background noise in the quieter songs but nothing terrible. It plays well. No skips, sticks, repeats etc..
Labels have no stickers, tears or writing. A small scratch on one label. Some wear around the spindle hole.
If you're looking at this then you now how rare it is, especially with the MONA label credit. It's far from perfect but I've had it in my collection for years and am only selling as I've found a better copy.
