Description

Ronnie Ross Quintet-Double Event 1959 1st Press Parlophone Lp Uk Press.

Vinyl in vg+ clean condition, side 1 more ex and side 2 vg,vinyl has a few light scratches and some fine hairlines when held to a bright light, no deep horrible gauges, vinyl still retains its deep shine and plays fully with no jumps or repeats, side 1 has a tiny scratch causing a few continuous light ticks on intro to track 1 and rest plays with the odd fine tick and minimal static, again side 2 has a tiny scratch causing a few ticks but track 2 has two scratches next to each other causing some load ticks for around 20 seconds, there is some five tiny ticks in a few places, again static ins minimal and still a decent play lp

Album cover vg,fully laminated sleeve with flap back rear, front has some light storage wear, opening edge has some light foxing and spine side has some creases, top left corner had a red possible paint mark which runs around spine to the back, most of it has come of,front laminate seems to have reacted to the picture underneath looking faded in places, small laminate split bottom left corner area, rear has a couple of age spots, both opening edge and spine edge seem to have ageing / browning, same red mark top right corner, looks like some of it has rubbed away, spine is creased but fully readable,no writing or tears.

1st black gold parlophone labels ex, no writing or tears.

1st press machine stamped matrix,

Side 1 XEX 252-1N also machine stamped 1 R

Side 2 XEX 253-1N also machine stamped 1 G

Shame about the ticks on side 2 as its a really rare British jazz lp.

I offer discount on postage for multiple wins.
