Description
Rory Gallagher / Portrait of
Japan ONLY LP
Polydor MP 5007
Appendices: "Original Shaped Cap OBI”, “Portrait Cover" & "Insert"
( FRONT-PANEL is missing )
Description: This is scarce Japan ONLY album ( released in 1973 ), comin' with very unique "Portrait-Cover". As title indicates, the front-cover is just like "portrait" of Rory, with the rims higher than inside ( See photo ). It's like a framed picture. Have you ever seen such an unique cover for Rory? Very rare shaped cap obi is also included. Though a front-panel is missing ( as usual with this album ), it’s still rare even in my country. Scarce item from Japan to serious collector.
Side A: Use to be, I’m not awake yet, Don’t know where I’m going, Should’ve learned my lesson, Going to my home town
Side B: Messing with the kid, In your town, Bullfrog blues
Condition: G+/EX- ( Cover/Disc )
COVER: Cover is partly worn on the corners & outer-edges. It’s stained with brown spots on the top-rims of each side. Front-panel is missing. Otherwise it has no tear, ring-wear, strip, dent & writing...OK.
DISC: Disc is excellent in condition, keeping glossy. It has some slight scuffs on each side. There’re several spindle-marks on each label. Otherwise it has none of any scratch, which is to be rated as "EX-".
OBI: VG, being lightly worn & discolored along the top-edge. It’s lightly stained on the surface of front.
INSERT: G, being creased on its surface of each side, with some red underlines on the front.
